It was truly an honor to have known Mr. Tonas. He always had a smile for me and would not leave the office without a hug. Hid family was his greatest love and he would tell me stories about them all the time. I am so sorry for your loss.

Jimmy,Costas, and George, you were blessed to have a Dad that understood what being a "Dad" was all about. I was jeolous and at the same time envious of you guys. Celebrating a life well lived. We will cherish the memories forever. I will always remember George as well dressed, personable gentleman with a great sense of humor.
Sharp as a tack, when I met George as a new member of the extended family, he recalled meeting me a decade earlier - and he was right. We had in fact met, he a customer, I an employee of Market Basket at the time.
