"Dad, it's so hard for me to believe you are gone. You were so young and could have lived so many more years. I wish I could have talked to you at least one more time and you could have met Little Ray and Lorelai. They look just like Chad and I did when we were kids. You will never be forgotten. I hope you know I loved you. You were my dad and I thought about you all the time. I wish I understood why things were the way they were, but I can't dwell on the past. You aren't in pain or suffering anymore. I love you Daddy."

"Well Dad... I knew this day would come but I was never really prepared for it. I wished nothing more than for us to have had a closer relationship, I got so many of my personality quirks from you such as my sense of humor. When we did talk to each other we got along really well and you always were willing to help in whatever way you can. I'm going to miss you dad... 54 years old is just too young. I wish I could have seen you into your 70s and 80s. I'll always love you."
