Condolence & Memory Journal

I will always be grateful that Alice has been my mother's room mate at Bedford Hills. She was very caring and friendly, and we enjoyed having her show us her knitting projects. She was so talented and generous. I'll miss her cheerfulness and sense of humor. Alice, you were a wonderful lady!

Alice was my mothers room mate at Bedford Hills for over 3 years. She was a king, warm and compassionate woman. She used to read psalms aloud to my mom at bedtime. I will miss her.

I was the nurse at the Manchester Housing Authority and knew Alice for many years when she lived there in the assisted living program. Her devotion to the Salvation Army was what got her through many days. She loved to collect things and always carried her bags. She had a friendly smile, a pleasant way and was very smart. We shared the same name, though we shared no family members. I moved away many years ago but think of her often as her life made an impact on me. My condolences go to her remaining family members.
