Condolence & Memory Journal

Thoughts & prayers go out to the Ketchie family. You did not know me but I worked with Sally at J.F. McElwain right out of high school in 1970. Sally was always so sweet. I also used to see her at the cable company when she worked there. I would always ask if Sally was there and she would come and chat with me. i had not see her in many years but I thought of her often. I am so sorry for your loss. She was a wonderful person

Oh dear, sweet, sassy, spunky Sally - a little lady with such a big life. You gave light, laughter, and melodious lilts to any gathering. Now we tap our feet and harmonize to your lovely soul moving on upwards to the heavenly skies. You will see our sadness, send down a memory, and watch it turn to joyous love.  You are missed. You are appreciated. You are a fresh angel now helping each along into our destiny. We will meet again "when the saints go marching in." Your niece, Cecile's daughter - Shant (Eileen)

To All the Ketchie Family,

I was so sad to hear of Sally's passing. I remember fondly that as a youngster in church, she and Marvin were always a friendly face, making a point to say hello to me and ask how I was doing. It meant a lot to me at that young age that an adult would take the time to do that.

Thinking of you all.

Love, Matt
