It is with sadness that I read of Carmelle's passing. The last time I saw her was in Canada,my sister Lou and I spent a beautiful evening with Carmelle and sons Mario and Bert at our mutual relative Gervais Lapointe's 50th Ann celebration. I remember years ago when we were still living in Berlin and Carmelle had come with Alain to visit friends. Imagine our surprise when the police officer came knocking at our door, he had escorted Carmelle and Alain, after they had stopped at the police station to get directions to our house. Our mother Adrienne, who was Carmelle's cousin had great respect for this wonderful lady. My husband Norm joins me in offering you our deepest sympathies. You had wonderful parents.
