Condolence & Memory Journal

Like a daily reader Marge will ALWAYS be in my heart and my pocket. I am blessed to have known her and the legacy she left will remain priceless in my heart. Near or far, her bus story has been repeated and repeated, like all the pearls of wisdom she shared. Rest in peace Marge unless you have some service to do in Heaven, wink wink!

Marge...a force to be reckoned with, loving, caring, honorable, funny, serious, charitable, compassionate, task master...just a few of the phrases and adjectives I can use to describe the Powerhouse I knew and loved, whose name is Marge. Your mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister changed my life and will be remembered forever in ways I cannot articulate. I loved staying in my purple room...always at the ready, said Marge.

Sending hugs, love and light to all.

My sincere condolences to Marge's family, may you feel the peace that Marge so many times passed on to others. I was so blessed to have met her having moved to NH from CT. Marge was such an inspiration and never failed to seek you out to step up to one service position or another. Her spirit, spunk and opinions will never be forgotten. She is truly Happy, Joyous and Free.

To the LeBlanc family, thank you for sharing your mom/grandma with so many. She was a good friend and adopted grandma to me. She was truly her own person and taught many others to be their own person as well. I have so much gratitude for having the opportunity to have Marge in my life. I will treasure her sharings on using one word to convey many meanings (Really. Really? Real-ly), why climbing under the porch is not the best position to be found in, and the importance of allowing people to get on/get off your bus. Much love to you all and please know I'm sending lots of love and light to your family.

My deepest sympathy to all of Marge's family at this time of loss. She was a wonderful friend and mentor to my Mom Thelma McAuliffe for many years. My Mom passed away almost 2 years ago so I'm guessing they're having a great reunion/meeting in heaven.

I am so sad to know you are gone Marge. You taught me so many wonderful things. You taught me to accept joy in my life and to hang up on abuse. You actually said "I give you permission to hang up on someone who is not being kind to you" . I needed that. You showed me that it was ok to shine. That I didn't need to be needy. You taught me to turn my my defects of character into the gifts God meant them to be. I was so happy to be able to visit you a while back and to see your dignity and grace completely in tact while this horrible disease robbed you. Your undying love, your gift of compassion, your unique perspective, your kindness and your ability to let me know when it was time to get over it and put on my big girl pants on and take charge of what I was responsible for has been everything I have ever needed to turn my life into something worth living. My bus ride with you has been amazing. Thank you for sharing your bus with me. You are forever in my heart and my soul. Dance with God, His space for you is large and perfect because you gave so much, He has much to give you. Love Always, Sandy Grimes. Diane I sure wish I could be there on time for Mom's memorial but please know you are all in my heart. S

I think the year was 1969 when I met your mom, Diane. She kept a strong eye on the 3 of us ( you, Bonnie and me) as we entered our freshman year at West. I am sure we were a handful & between our two moms they could always follow our paths...LOL. I am grateful to have know and shared a part of my life with Marge...wishing all the family peace in the loss of Mom Leblanc. xo Lynn
