Lionel "Phil" J. Landry, 54, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at the Elliot Hospital after a long battle with heart disease.

Born in Manchester, he was the son of the late Constance D. (Martel) Landry. He was an avid reader, was passionate about politics, science, and current events, often debating with family and friends. During the warmer months, Lionel enjoyed riding motorcycles with his brothers. Lionel loved to feed the birds and squirrels in his yard. Lionel will be best remembered for his dry sense of humor and kind heart.

Lionel is survived by his son, Chad Landry; daughter, Ericka Tripet; two grandchildren; one sister, Darlene A. Hargis; four brothers, Paul Hargis and wife Nancy, John Hargis, Gary Hargis, and Steven Landry; several nieces, nephews, and extended family and many friends. In addition to his mother, Lionel was predeceased by his brother, Leo Hargis.

ARRANGEMENTS: A Memorial Service will be held privately at a later date.
