Condolence & Memory Journal

Priscilla was my first physical therapist and when she retired she became a valued volunteer at the Belknap County Conservation District. Despite her failing eye sight she helped with a wide variety of projects, put a Conservation Easement on her land in Laconia, and had us down to her cottage in Alton. Her smile and positive attitude made her a good friend as well as helper. So sorry to have missed her service and that you have lost her. Your family had a great Mamie we will all remember well.

To the Puleo family,

John and I send our most sincere condolences on the passing of your beloved Mom. We knew both of your parents at Bektash Shrine in Concord. She was one beautiful lady who will be sorely missed. Until we meet again. God bless.

Rick,

we were saddened to learn of your Mom's passing. I remember her from DeMolay days when she would attend with your father, events at the old masonic Hall.

I'm so very sorry to know you've lost your mom. You must be so proud of the life she lead and how her efforts affected so many in need of her help. You are working in a similar field, Pam, helping others in your way. May your memories comfort you.

What a loss for you all, and our hearts are with you at this time. Priscilla shared a smile and a story at every encounter with us, and we are very thankful to have known her. She has left behind a wonderful legacy of service to others, caring and compassion. Love those Mamie Rolls, too.

To The Puleo Family : Dick and Priscilla were two good friends of many years ago through Bektash Temple. Their devotion to Shrine efforts over many years was remarkable. During a New Hampshire visit two weeks ago, we talked about them as we drove back to Lake Winnisquam along Parade Road from Meredith. May God shine his light upon their reunification while they team up once again.

Priscilla was a best friend to my mom, Claire, a polio victim, and was an in-home therapist for her from 1957 until Claire's death in 1991. I loved this gentle lady, too, whom I called Mrs. Puleo, for the strong yet compassionate manner in which she practiced her skillful profession. Thank you, Mrs. Puleo. May you rest in peace in the company of so many that you have loved and helped.

I became aware of this fine lady through our friendship shared with Ann Jordan and also through my volunteer work at LRGH and the Opechee Garden Club. To know her was to like her. Priscilla Puleo was as relaxing as her voice and smile. Our paths didn't cross as often but when they did, she would flash a welcome smile and we enjoyed renewing our connection. She was a lovely lady and I know her family will be comforted with their memories.

Pamela, your beloved mom was an inspiration and wonderful example of Yankee self reliance and toughness. Your grief in her passing should be eclipsed by the knowledge of a full life well lived.
