To all members of the Wheeler family. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Steve was one of a kind and a very special person. I think he was one of the nicest people I have ever known. I had not seen him since the 1970s and often wondered where he had gone. Cherish your memories of Steve. He will "live" in your hearts forever.

To All Members of the Wheeler family. You have our deepest sympathy for your loss. We so appreciated Steve's depth of knowledge, talent, good nature and his frank, honest approach to most all things of significance in today's world. Steve's passing is a great loss to all who knew him or sought his opinion.
He spoke reality. He was always current on matters of recycling both in Salisbury and neighboring towns in order to provide his town with the best knowledge and advice on running an efficient facility. He managed the facility with skill, patience, common sense, good decision making and excellent customer relations all to the benefit of the Salisbury residents. We owe much to Steve. He was a good soul. Rest in peace.

Steve was a rare human being: smart, compassionate, curious, practical, down to earth. He had a great sense of humor. He acquired a lot of knowledge about an astonishing array of topics. Like most Salisbury residents, I'm gonna miss him. My thoughts and deep condolences to Barb and to their large extended family.
