When I first met Phil, he had a garage in the back alley on Cedar St. Then, he started dating my cousin Maryann. I got to know him and we became friends. He used to go to my uncle's restaurant The Acropolis.
Phil was a good mechanic but sometimes if things didn't go right, his Greek temper took over. But he was a good guy and we got along very good .
After he married Maryann we used to cook the lambs together and have a few drinks, maybe too many. He was always ready to party and tell stories about Greece and his family over there. I did meet his dad before he left to go back to Greece.
Phil, myself and my brother Charlie liked to Greek dance together with the handkerchief. He liked to have fun.
Phil loved his family...Maryann, his two daughters Nia and Irene.
He will be missed by all who knew him.
This is my recollection of Phil. With love, Bill

BROTHER PHIL...You have been part of my life for 62 years..I only had my dad for 12. To think I met you when I was 8 and worked in your garage answering the phone while you took 2 hour lunch breaks making googling eyes at MaryAnn. You were always there for me and always told me I had a home. You were a part of many milestones in my life whether you coming to Keene State for Parents Weekends or you walking me down the aisle on my wedding day. We shared a VERY SPECIAL BOND. You always called me your SISTER.
I will miss you terribly and cherish all the memories we shared together. Love Sis Kathy
