Condolence & Memory Journal

Rest in Peace Rick. Me and several other North-Country guys worked with Rick building ski lifts back in the mid-1990s. Rick was always full of energy, kind, in a great mood and especially humorous. We all looked up to him. He was a born leader - very knowledgeable and of course strong as can be. Just an over-all great guy. I wish his family the best.

I had only known you for a short while, but what I did get to know was amazing you had a heart of gold and would help anyone. Broken hearted for your family and friends. You were such an amazing person and until the day we meet again Rest in Paradise my friend.

Sending all of the Place family strong peaceful energy and good thoughts. Rick was indeed a force of nature, and I can only imagine how much you all will miss him. May your memories of special times shared bring you comfort in this time of loss.

Thinking of you Kariann and family. Rick spent a lot of time with our family growing up and of course found a lot of mischief with my brother Lance. Very sorry to hear of this!

I watched this past week all the memories peopled shared about Rick on Facebook- and I will repeat what I said: Rick Place was a legend and the type of person that epitomized the best of small towns like Littleton! Rick - I can't make your internment but I will find your plot and pay a visit the next visit up to the North Country.
