It is with a heavy heart that we learned of Bob's passing. Husband always remembered a pet the family had.
It has been a story told so often my children feel they know the pet. But Bob will be missed. Our deepest regret for the family's loss. He will be remembered in our prayers

Bob (or his real name, Papa) has been my second “Dad” and a truly GOOD part of my world for almost 40 years.

To me he was a always a voice of ‘common sense positivity,’ intelligence, cheerfulness, and above all FAMILY.

He was all about others.

He was always both materially and emotionally generous. And always there for us — with a happy greeting, listening to us, and with an interesting story of his own to tell.

He really did win in life. He traveled the entire world, with his very best friend, fully embracing life. He had earned that great life through so many years of hard, hard work. And through a life of being there for others.

Toward the end, it seemed like God just couldn’t say no to Papa, as he prayed so many times for just one more adventure with Myrna, just one more holiday with all of us.

But now Papa has been called up. His soul must have absolutely had to go. To a new and no doubt wondrous life.

To an even bigger life.

He went over ahead of us, maybe to help set up the party. We’re crying real tears, because now we have to keep going without him.

But we know that he is watching us. That he’s feeling good again.

And most especially, that nothing is over.

We’ll see him soon enough, and he’ll show us around and tell us all about his newest adventures.

The best is still yet to come for Dad, for Myrna, and for all of us who love and miss him.

My sincere sympathy to the entire MacArthur family. I had the pleasure to work for Bob many years at Castle Caterers. He was a very quiet caring individual. There is one more bright star shining down on us.
Rest in peace, Bob.

I first met Bob when I started Molloy Sound and Video and he was working at the Wayfarer. He always knew the true meaning of the hospitality business. It was a pleasure to have made his acquaintance and worked with him as we would meet on events over the years. Our condolences to the entire family. May he Rest In Peace . My Sympathy to Bob's entire family. He will be missed but not forgotten. Bob was generous to his Great "Aunt Dot" and I have not forgotten - she had one less worry about food when Bob was catering - she knew it would be good. Take care and I will "see" you online at the service. Cousin Cindy

Very sorry about Bob. Went to school with Bob, 7 and 8 grade and high school. Worked at one Rest. where he also worked. Bob was calm, and quiet and he used to hang out with us.

Myrna I'm so sorry for your loss. Bob was one of those that are hard to find. The love that you both shared for each other was phenomenal. I know I'll miss the bantering between Bob and I. He's pain free and watching over you.
