Tribute & Message From The Family

Beloved Mother, Grandmother & Great-Grandmother

Ann Theresa (Sullivan) Hannan, 82, of Bedford, NH was called to Heaven on December 22, 2020. Born on January 15, 1938, she was a daughter of the late Peter and Mary (Coffee) Sullivan, who had immigrated from Ireland to start their family in Boston, MA. She shared 58 years of marriage with her late husband, Paul J. Hannan.

Ann was raised and educated in Somerville, MA. She married Paul Hannan in 1961. Ann and Paul started their family and were blessed with two children. Ann was a devout Christian who found great comfort in her faith; when she was younger, she was a member of her church's women's guild, and was more recently a parishioner of Tower Hill Church in Auburn. Ann was a talented seamstress who was known for sewing Irish Step Dancing costumes for her daughter and nieces. Above all else, family was paramount in Ann's life. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who cherished time spent with her loved ones.

Ann is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Sue Ellen; her daughter and son-in-law, Donna and David Beecher; her grandsons, Jonathan Beecher and his wife Lisa, Zachary Beecher and his wife Alyssa, Joshua Beecher and Nicholas Beecher; her granddaughter, Julia Hannan; her brother and sister, Buddy Sullivan and Kay Cashman; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

Services will be held privately. Ann will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Paul, at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery, Boscawen.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ann's memory may be made to a charity of one's choice.

Condolence & Memory Journal

Paul, Donna, Dave and all, our most sincere sympathy on the loss of Ann We have many many fond memories of Ann and Paul - they were our best friends during our years in Bedford and even though we've moved around a bit since those years we always kept in touch. I had to plan my phone calls to Ann as they were always lengthy and full of love! They epitomized a christain marriage and family I loved them both so much Be comforted in the legacy of love that they left Fred and Flo MacLean

Mrs. Hannan was one of the nicest women and nicest neighbors I have ever met. When I would stop over to hang out with Paul when we were kids she always greeted me with a smile and a hello. My deepest sympathies to Paul and Donna and the rest of her family. My she rest in peace.

Paul and Donna, please accept my deepest sympathy and condolences on the loss of your beloved mother. I remember sitting with her at Dunkin' Donuts a few times the last couple of years chatting about God, family and just life in general unbeknownst to me it was your mom. As time went on I soon found out who she was. Our coffee meetings were no mere coincidence as we shared a commonality for the Love of The Lord and family. We had many deep conversations about God and life. I am so blessed that I had the opportunity to meet her once again. Your mother personified unparalleled class, dignity, poise and respect. Keep strong in the faith as The Lord is our refuge and shelter. Rest assure you will see your mother again! Respectly submitted to you in thought and prayers.
