Paul G. Lainesse, 91, of Hooksett, passed away at his residence on January 16, 2021.
He was born in St. Albert, Warwick, PQ, Canada on June 20, 1929, the son of Herve and Alida (Pare) Lainesse. He was a master finish carpenter. Paul was a long-time parishioner of Ste. Marie Church. He was the third of eight children and was predeceased by his wife, Martha (Nadeau) Lainesse in 2016.
Paul was a member of La Rencontre. He had a positive outlook on life, enjoyed keeping in touch with family and friends and laughed easily and heartily
Family members include his children, Carole Patient of Hooksett, Michael Lainesse of Auburn, Josee Masse her husband Daniel of Auburn, three grandchildren, Patrick Patient, Emma Masse, and Zachary Masse; and many nephews, nieces, and cousins.
Calling hours will be at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover St., Manchester on Thursday from 4 to 7 PM. Later this year, a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Ste. Marie Church with inurnment in Mt. Calvary Cemetery mausoleum to follow. Please note that current restrictions and regulations require those in attendance to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. Paul thank you for making my daughter feel special and loved as you did it means the world to us both. You are a special man whom left us with an amazing example of love, strength, character and more in you just being you. You were a gift to us all while you were here and will continue to be in our memories of you that you are still alive within us all whom you've touched. Our deepest condolences to all of you.... Thank you so much for the streaming, we had a chance to see Paul and all of you from a distance... Although we were unable to be with you because of the pandemic, rest assured that our thoughts and prayers are with you. We lost a great man, a great brother-in-law and a great uncle.....
