My old friend, I have tried to do this several times but it's difficult to type through tears and heart ache. I have known you since childhood, and although through the years contact has been less, the memories are still there and joyful. Though the last time we saw each other was diner in 2017 with Tim, (after you had so lovely decorated my house for Halloween while I was on vacation!), I hold onto that memory tightly. Not often can you not see someone for so many years, then come together and have it be like yesterday when you last saw each other. Your smile and heart have touched so many. You will be missed so much by all who knew you. You will always be in my heart. To Kate, and Patty's boys, your mother, sister, and Grandmother were wonderful women, and I am so sorry for your loss. Hold on to your memories, keep them in your heart and pass them down to your children. They will always be with you.

While my memories of Patty extend to the very distant past -- from Fun in the Sun to Central High School -- I wanted to send my deepest condolences to her family, particularly to sister Kate on the passing of her mother as well. You may not remember me, but I definitely recall the lovely young girls, eager, laughing, and ready to learn. You brought joy to me on all counts. Also, while, tangential to life now I suppose, my grandmother thought very, very highly of your grandmother Karam, and would take me along when she visited her "in the neighborhood". Lovely memories of a lovely family. My very deepest sympathy to you all.

Pat you were an amazing woman! I moved in the neighborhood when I was 5 in about 2002. I didn't have very many friends in the neighborhood but you, Kate and Your parents were so nice to me During the amount of knowing you, Kate , your father and your wonderful mother I will never forget our short conversations we had throughout the years. I hope you are surrounded by loved ones. I will always have a place in my heart for the Karam Family. You and Kate will always be a sister to me (: thank you for all the great memories during my time as your moms neighbor You will be missed

My sincere condolences to you, Pat's family, for the sudden loss of your mother and grandmother. She was a wonderful, creative, generous, smart, and spunky woman who didn't take or tolerate B.S. We are all better for knowing Pat - a truly authentic person; she will always hold a fond place in my heart. Prayers of comfort, love, and peace to you all.
