Tribute & Message From The Family
Robert Edward Martel III, of Manchester, passed away unexpectedly on May 12, 2021.
He was born in Lynn, MA on December 31, 1983 to Robert E. Martel, Jr. and the late Sherrel (Booth) Lanngren. He was the husband of Stephanie (Drewniak) Martel with whom he spent the past 5 years.
Robert loved candlepin bowling, nature hikes, deep sea fishing, traveling, playing catch, working on cars and motorcycles, playing pool, swimming, laughing and most of all – FAMILY! He was always up for an adventure with his wife and kids.
He worked construction both on and off the clock; always the first one to volunteer with a remodeling project or painting, installing windows, snow-blowing, and all the household chores. Nobody ever lifted a finger with Rob around. He put everyone else ahead of himself, always.
He is survived by his loving wife Stephanie Martel, his father Robert Martel, Jr., his daughters; Brianna and Kirsten Martel, siblings; Jennifer, Joseph, Debra, Joshua and Becka, Jason, Jessica, Sheila, Stan and Brittany, nieces and nephews; Justin, Gary, Jayci, Selena, Molly, Jesiah, Dakota, Riley and Penelope, and in-laws Stan & Jeannine Drewniak.
Services: A memorial gathering will be held on Monday, May 31st from 11-12pm at the Phaneuf Funeral Homes & Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street in Manchester. A service will begin at 12pm at the funeral home. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend. Masks and social distancing are required.

I remember the day we put this bike together. I have so many thousands of happy memories with you and my life will never be the same, no matter what fulfilling task I find to distract myself. We had so many more times to come! I am so broken without you. I know that I will see you again someday. It breaks my heart for all the happiness that you missed out on, the last 50 years of your life. All of the adventures and the laughter and jokes and the memories that we will never have. Watching your girls grow up and become wives and mothers someday. Experiencing life, growing old with me and becoming a grampy. Traveling and learning from every experience. Working alongside me for the future we always talked about. Nobody will ever take your place. It's only a matter of time till I see you again.
