Condolence & Memory Journal

I was very fortunate to have met Pearl and considered a friend of hers for some 30 years. Pearl always though she was so blessed and couldn't understand why so many people cared about her, but you know when you're so caring and giving of yourself as Pearl was it all comes right back to you. She was an unbelievable lady. I will miss her monthly phone calls just to to talk. Be at peace and enjoy your new life.

It was a somber moment but one I will never forget. I was to pick Pearl up to attend Mr. P's funeral but my Jeep sits up very high and as it was summer I had removed the doors and top. I expressed my concerns to Pearl about her getting into my rig. Her response? "If I can get into Brad's truck I can certainly get into your Jeep!" So up and in she went, I buckled her down, promised not to take any sharp corners, and down the road we went! That was Pearl... always ready, willing and able! My worst regret was not getting a picture. Pearl was a class act and I will ever admire her old school work ethic. Like showing up for work extra early every Sunday morning so she could put the papers together and get the coffee going. She was a thoughtful and considerate lady who worked hard all her life and didn't complain about it! I will miss her sense of humor. It was a privilege to know her and call her my friend...RIP Pearl, I will miss you

Pearl was a one of a kind person. She was precise, classy, honest. She never forgot a family birthday or anniversary. She always showed genuine concern and interest for our family, even during her last days when she was very sick.
She was old school and her word was gold. She took pride in everything she did. Pearl always seemed to view the glass as half full and always could find the good side of any situation or person. She was like family to us and will be forever missed by us all.
