Obituary

Eva M. (Crawford) Boucher 101, died on January 23, 2021 at Hanover Hill Healthcare Center, surrounded by her daughter and son after a period of declining health.
She was born on May 30, 1919 on the 1st Range of Leeds Township, Quebec, Canada, to James and Edna (Rickaby) Crawford.
Eva immigrated to Manchester in 1945 and held various jobs in the mills. She married in 1946 and became a U.S. Citizen in 1948. She was a longtime parishioner of St. Paul's United Methodist Church. She retired from the Felton Brush Co. in 1981
After her retirement, she enjoyed walking and socializing with her friends. She joined the Manchester Walking program for which she participated for many years. During her retirement she was a volunteer for Veterans Hospital and worked part-time for the Manchester Fire Prevention Program.
Eva has been the family Ambassador and Historian. She loved being with family and telling stories about her 10 brothers and sisters on the family farm in Canada. She has always been a positive, kind, loving and gentle woman.
The family includes her daughter and son-in-law, Florence & Charlie Hawes of Candia, her son and daughter-in-law Raymond & Denise Boucher of Manchester. Granddaughter, Jennifer Hartwell of Des Moines, WA, Grandson & spouse Tim & Kelly Hawes of Manchester, A granddaughter & spouse, Lori & Scott Barnwell two great grandsons Douglas & Owen Barnwell of Derry. Many nieces and nephews both in US and Canada. She was predeceased by her husband Rosaire Boucher (1965) and her TEN siblings: Wendell, Stella, Dora, Wesley, Clara, Glen, Earl, Alfred, Edith, Herbert, and grandson, Neal R. Farland. Several nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be held on Friday, January 29, 2021 from 9 – 11 AM at Phaneuf Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 243 Hanover Street, in Manchester. Please note current restrictions limiting funeral home capacity to no more than 50%. Those in attendance are respectfully requested to wear face coverings and practice social distancing. A funeral service will follow at 11 AM in the funeral home chapel. Committal prayers will take place at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum in Manchester.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Make-A-Wish New Hampshire or to the NH Food Bank.
