Leo Henry Barrows, Jr, age 71, unexpectedly passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019 at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, NH. He was born on August 7, 1947 in Windsor, VT and was the eldest son of Leo Henry Barrows, Sr. and Ruth I (Simonds) Barrows. He was the husband of Martha Donahue and widower of Carol L (Kalinen) Barrows.

Leo graduated from Black River High School, class of 1965, where he excelled in baseball and soccer. After H.S. Leo joined the U.S. Navy where he served as an electronics technician while serving aboard the USS Monrovia. During this time Leo married his high school sweetheart, Carol L. (Kalinen) Barrows. Leo loved working with his hands and being outdoors as much as possible. He took pride in keeping himself healthy, strong, and mentally alert. Leo was looking forward to extensively traveling in his 1967 GM 4107 converted bus/RV on which he spent many hours working to make sure all systems were working properly. Leo also loved helping people solve their mechanical issues and many people sought his extensive knowledge, he loved a mechanical challenge and would research it until he found a solution. He enjoyed spending time on his family genealogy which dates back to the 1600's.
