M. ROSE BRUNELLE

BETHLEHEM, NH -- M. Rose Brunelle, with family by her side, went to be with her husband, Bob on September 19, 2016, after a brief illness. She was born in Littleton, NH on May 31, 1922 to Joseph and Celina (Daigle) Laflamme.

Rose graduated from Littleton High School. She dedicated 39 years to New England Telephone retiring in 1979. She married her best friend, Bob Brunelle on September 11, 1943 in Littleton.

Rose was an avid Red Sox Fan. She enjoyed morning phone calls with family and friends, spending time with her family at sporting events, school activities and family get togethers, especially holidays. Rose and Bob enjoyed their time at their camp on Burns Pond and their retirement years at Daniels Pond in Glover, VT. They enjoyed many hours spent fishing. Their family always looked forward to the fish Rose prepared. It was well-known that Rose could beat Bob in cards and sometimes even without cheating.

Rose was predeceased by her parents, her husband, two infant children Susan and John, her sisters Yvonne Olson, Alfreda Semales and Annette Aldrich, and her brothers, Leo and Oliver Laflamme.

Rose is survived by her daughters, Ruth Brusseau of Bethlehem, NH, Nancy and Don Call of Guildhall, VT; grandchildren, Bill and Jody Brusseau of Bethlehem, NH, Jon and Jessica Brusseau of Monroe, NH, Valerie and Tom Belanger of Milan, NH, Erin and Ben Blodgett of Strafford, NH, Anne Call of Guildhall, VT and Suzanne and Neil Quinlan of Manchester, NH; 8 great grandchildren, her brother Antonio Laflamme, her sister Eva and Robert Fillion and her brother William Laflamme all of Littleton, as well as many nieces and nephews.

SERVICES -- Calling Hours will be held at the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home, located at 101 Union Street in Littleton, NH on Sunday, September 25th from 3:00 to 5:00 pm. A Rite of Christian Burial will be held at St. Rose of Lima Church located at 77 Clay Street in Littleton, NH on Monday, September 26th at 10:30 a.m. with the Very Rev. Mark Dollard as Celebrant. Burial will follow in the Glenwood Cemetery.
