WARREN D. YEARGLE

LITTLETON, NH -- Warren D. Yeargle, 65, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, July 3, 2016 at his home.

Warren was born November 11, 1950 in Littleton, NH to Jane Pearce and Stanley Yeargle. He graduated from Littleton High School in 1968. Warren then went on to attend the University of New Hampshire; which he graduated from in 1972 with a BA in Liberal Arts. On May 12, 1973 he married his high school sweetheart and best friend, Irene. Warren and Irene lived in Allenstown, NH for the first 11 years of their marriage. Then they relocated back to their hometown of Littleton to raise their 2 daughters.

Warren worked 40+ years in the construction business. Over the years Warren held many different interests. He enjoyed going bird hunting in the fall. He also enjoyed breeding and training bird dogs, and was a member of the Northern New England Brittany Club for many years. He was one of the first judges for the AKC Master Hunting Certification. Warren enjoyed spending many summer days out on his boat on Moore Dam. He enjoyed boating so much he obtained the nickname "Captain Woe" from his friends and family. Warren also enjoyed photography, whether it was taking pictures himself or editing pictures for others to enjoy. In the most recent years, one of Warren's favorite hobbies was spending time with his two grandchildren. You would often find the three of them baking away in the kitchen, whether it was Warren's famous black and white cupcakes or his zucchini blueberry bread. Warren recently became a lifetime member of the Littleton Elks Lodge.

He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Irene (Knight) Yeargle, daughter Melissa and her husband Bruce Buchanan of Cumberland, RI, Daughter, Amy and her husband Erich Nilges II of Hillsboro, NH; grandchildren Emily and Addison Buchanan; his brother David Yeargle and his wife Linda of Whitefield, NH, his sister Mary Morton of Whitefield, NH, his brother Bruce Yeargle of Littleton, NH, his sister-in-law Brenda Yeargle of Littleton NH, as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. He was predeceased by his parents Jane Pearce and Stanley Yeargle as well as his brother Kenneth Yeargle. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend to all and was always quick to greet his friends and family with a big smile and a warm hug.

SERVICES -- Visitation will be held on Monday, July 11, 2016 at the Pillsbury Phaneuf Funeral Home from the hours of 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. A graveside service will be held at Glenwood Cemetery on July 12, 2016 at 11:00 am.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Warren's memory, to the Littleton High School Scholarship Trust, c/o Guidance Department, Littleton High School, 159 Oak Hill Avenue, Littleton, NH 03561. This scholarship is an award given to students who are pursuing further education. Whether it is a trade school, two or four year programs, and vocational careers.
