Barbara A. Cayer, 82, of Manchester, NH, passed away December 28, 2016 in Manchester.

Barbara was born November 17, 1934 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of George & Myrtle (Russell) Pollock and had been a lifelong resident of this community.

Barbara was a loving mother and grandmother, with a compassionate heart and a gift for caring for family and friends in their final stages of life.

Barbara was known to many as the impeccably dressed, hard working, friendly teller at the Bank of NH for many years.

Family includes one son, Rand Cayer and his wife, Patty; three daughters, Donna Borges and her husband, Ed, Cheryl Hoffman and her husband, Mike and Brenda Borchers and her companion, Jack LaPuma; eleven grandchildren; one brother, Bruce Pollock; as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends within the community.

Calling hours will be Monday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home, 573 Pine Street, corner of Harrison Street in Manchester

Funeral Service will be conducted on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. in Cate & Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be sent to Salvation Army, a cause near and dear to Barbara's heart, at 121 Cedar Street, Manchester, NH 03101.
