Doris D. Bishop, 92, of Concord, NH, passed away December 7, 2015 at Presidential Oaks Health Care Center in Concord, NH.

Doris was born May 22, 1923 in Manchester, NH, a daughter of Arthur & Joanne (Riedel) DeGagne and had resided in Bedford, Strafford and Elkins, NH throughout the years.

Prior to retirement, Doris was a teacher within the Manchester School District for 30 years.

Doris was active with the professional teachers associations throughout the years and was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star organization, however, family was at the center of her life.

Doris was pre-deceased by her husband, Robert H. Bishop.

Family is especially thankful for the loving care provided to Doris by the staff at Presidential Oaks.

Family includes one son, Arthur Bishop and his wife, Trisha; two daughters, Bonnie Bickford and her husband, Karl, and Martha Drociak and her husband, Frank; as well as eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Memorial Service will be conducted on Sunday at 1:00 p.m. at Bow Lake Free Will Baptist Church in Strafford, NH. Burial will take place at NH Veterans Cemetery at the convenience of family.
