Efigenia Giotas, 86, of Manchester, NH, passed away January 12, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family.

Effie was born November 13, 1928 in Fourka, Greece, a daughter of George & Soultana (Tzimourangas) Moutsioulis and had been a Manchester resident for many years.

Prior to retirement, Effie was employed with the Pandora Company.

Effie was a longtime member of The Daughters of Fourka. She enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends, however family was at the center of her life.

Family includes her husband of 54 years, John Giotas; one son, Nicholas Giotas; one daughter, the late Maria Giotas; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins here and in Greece.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home, 573 Pine Street, corner of Harrison Street in Manchester. A Trisagion Prayer Service will be offered at 6:00 p.m. in Cate & Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be sent to St. George Cathedral, 650 Hanover Street, Manchester, NH 03104.

Cate & Johnson Funeral Service of Manchester is directing arrangements.
