Leonard S. Sousa, 88, of Manchester, NH, passed away October, 16, 2016 at the home he was born in.

Lenny was born May 18, 1928 in Manchester, NH, a son of John & Maria (Moniz) Sousa and had been a lifelong resident of this community.

Lenny was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and a member of The 11th Airborne.

Prior to retirement, he was proprietor of G&M Bakery in Manchester for many years.

Lenny was alongtimeactive member of the Masonic Fraternity, Bektash Shriners, Pinardville Lions Club and the Odd Fellows organization.

Family includes his wife, Georgia (Argeriou) Sousa; three brothers, John Sousa, Dan Sousa and Sidney Sousa; sisters-in-law, Lorette Sousa, Helen Sousa and Norma Sousa; brother-in-law, Milton Argeriou and his wife, Sally Argeriou; two Godsons, James Argeriou and Walter Argeriou; cousin, Maria Damalas; as well as other cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends; including special friend, Sue Salmon.

Lenny was pre-deceased by two brothers, Jac Sousa and Libby Sousa; a sister, Bernie Montgomery and her husband Oscar Montgomery; as well as sisters-in-law, Eva Sousa and Betty Sousa.

Calling hours will be Thursday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral in Manchester.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Cathedral. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.
