Mary T. Gillis, 89, of Manchester, NH passed away July 18, 2016 at Maple Leaf Health Care Center.

Mary was born November 2, 1926 in Boston, MA, a daughter of George & Ellen (Owens) Griffin and had been a Manchester resident for many years.

Mary was a longtime active parishioner of St. Joseph Cathedral and particularly took great pride in raising her children as a stay at home mom.

Mary was pre-deceased by her husband, John Gillis.

Family includes two sons, John “Jack” Gillis and Tom Gillis and his wife Lisa; one daughter, Patty Brennan and her significant other, Mike Ezyk; two grandsons, Andrew Gillis and Jonathan Gillis; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Graveside Service will be conducted on Friday at 2:00 p.m. at St. Joseph Cemetery in Bedford, NH.

Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.

Cate & Johnson Funeral Service of Manchester is directing arrangements.
