Paul C. Manning, 85, of Bedford, NH, passed away May 2, 2016 at Hackett Hill Health Care Center.

Paul was born June 12, 1930 in Manchester, NH, a son of Merrill & Ruth (Cheney) Manning and had been a Bedford, NH resident for most of his life.

Prior to retirement, Paul was employed with the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years.

Paul very much enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening at his home; however, he especially enjoyed time spent with his family.

Paul was pre-deceased by his wife of 34 years, Linda (Rogers) Manning.

Family includes five sons, Tom Manning, Timothy Manning, Paul Manning, Walter Manning and his wife, Rebecca and Joseph Manning and his wife, Karrie; eleven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; one brother, Gordon Manning and his wife, Elaine; as well as nieces, nephews and cousins.

Calling hours will be Friday from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home, 573 Pine Street, corner of Harrison Street in Manchester.

Prayer Service will be offered on Friday at 11:00 a.m. in Cate & Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Nashua, NH.
