Russell R. Grayshan, 97, of Manchester, NH, passed away January 31, 2017 in Manchester.

Russell was born October 21, 1919 in Manchester, NH, a son of James & Emma (Buck) Grayshan and had been a lifelong resident of this community.

Prior to retirement, Russell was employed with Graf Brothers Trucking Company for many years.

He was a longtime active member of The Masonic Fraternity, Bektash Shriners and The Odd Fellows organization.

Russell seemed to have a rough edged personality, however to know him was to love him.

He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War II.

Russell was pre-deceased by his wife, Eunice (Peever) Grayshan and his son, David R. Grayshan.

Family includes nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral Services will be conducted at the convenience of family. Burial will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be sent to a charity of one’s choice.

Cate & Johnson Funeral Service of Manchester is directing arrangements.
