Vasiliki Bakolas, 88, of Manchester, NH, passed away September 30, 2015 in Manchester.

Vasiliki was born December 1, 1926 in Avgerinos, Greece, a daughter of Christos & Soultana (Mitoulis) Tsekaris and had been a Manchester, NH resident for many years.

Prior to retirement, Vasiliki was employed with the Pandora Company.

Vasiliki was a longtime active member of the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church and the Ladies Philoptochos Society of the church.

A loving wife, mother and Yiayia, Vasiliki very much enjoyed crocheting as well as cooking for family and friends; however her grandchildren were at the center of her life.

Family includes her husband of 60 years, Dimitrios Bakolas; one son, Arthur Bakolas and his wife, Stavroula; one daughter, Mariana Gasis and her busband, George; four grandchildren, Demetrios Bakolas, Christiana Bakolas, Polixeni Gasis and Stergiani Gasis; as well as many nieces and nephews both here and in Greece.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Cate & Johnson Funeral Home. 573 Pine Street, corner of Harrison Street in Manchester. A Trisagion Prayer Service will be offered at 5:00 p.m. in Cate & Johnson Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral Service will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Assumption Greek Orthodox Church in Manchester. Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Manchester.

Memorial contributions may be sent to the Ladies Philoptochos Society of the Assumption Church, 111 Island Pond Road, Manchester, NH 03109.
